Privacy
Nostalgic Records runs short landing pages that send you to our music on Spotify. This page explains what we record when you use them.
What we record on every visit
When you open one of our pages and when you continue to Spotify, our server records which page you visited, the time, the campaign
details in the link (for example utm parameters and ad ids), your IP address, your approximate location (country, region and city derived
from your IP address), your browser's user agent (device type, operating system and browser), and what happened next (whether Spotify
opened, whether you came back to the page). To recognise repeat visits we set a cookie called nr_vid with a random visitor id
(kept for a year), and we also compare IP address and user agent with visits from the last 7 days. We check the public follower count of
the playlist to estimate whether a visit led to a save.
Meta (Facebook / Instagram) measurement, only with your consent
If you tap Accept, we load the Meta Pixel and send the same visit and Spotify-click events from our server to Meta (the Conversions API)
so we can measure our ads. This uses the cookies _fbp and _fbc and shares your IP address, browser user agent and these
cookie values with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. If you tap No thanks, nothing is sent to Meta and no Meta cookies are set.
We remember your choice in a cookie called nr_consent. You can change it by clearing cookies for this site.
Our email list, only if you sign up
After you have been to Spotify, some of our pages offer to email you new playlists. If you enter your email address, we keep it together with
the page and offer you signed up from, the time, the language of the page and your approximate location (country and city), and use it only to
send you new playlists from Nostalgic Records. The legal basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email, or ask
us to delete your address. We remember that you signed up or said no thanks in a cookie called nr_eo (one year after signing up,
30 days after no thanks), so we don't ask again. We do not sell or share your address; we may use an email service provider to send the emails.
Retention
Visit statistics are kept for as long as they are useful for our campaigns. IP addresses are deleted from our visit records after 30 days, and IP addresses that are sent to Meta are removed from the sending queue within 7 days. Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
